Mookaite is a distinctive jasper from Austrailia. This piece contains the well known mustard yellow within a swath of unique purple. 

The term 'Mookaite' was coined by miners in the area it is found. It is a form of silicified porcelaniteI. It occurs from the weathering profile of a geological formation known as Windalia Radiolarite, a Lower Cretaceous sedimentary unit that outcrops over much of the Carnarvon Basin in Western Australia.
