Seraphinite, also known as Serafina or Green Chlorite, is a gemstone characterized by its lovely, deep forest green color, highlighted by shimmering strokes and feathery patterns caused by the mica mineral. It also comes from the Greek word ‘seraphim’, which describes the celestial being with three pairs of wings. The chayotant fibres that can be found on the seraphinite look just like silver feathery wings.
