A bright yellow and orange starfish set on a sea of blue streaks and dots. This is a hand crafted fused glass tray. This is a handmade fused glass piece with a shallow curvature perfect for decoration or everyday use.
I start with a base of streaked light blue glass and hand create the starfish and blue ocean dot from colored ground glass (frit). I fully fuse these together in the kiln. I then fire the piece in the kiln a second time to slump it into a bowl form.
Each of my glass art creations is a unique pattern. It is fired to 1,400 degrees in my kiln, then slowly cooled through a proper annealing stage to maintain durability and strength.
Includes a set of 3 rubber feet as an option for better anti-scratch/skid on certain surfaces
