"Earth & Sea"
An extra large Brazilian agate slice (4-1/2" x 4") enclosed in a stained glass mosaic and finished with an aged copper finish. This rustic piece combines nature with light to help inspire an ageless beauty of earth and water. I chose a rustic weathered copper look to blend with the history of the stone.
The 4 pieces of glass contain green and brown to balance the ocean water and earth. The white green represents the water with the two-toned brown glass to represent weathering of earth.
The agate is a slice of a Brazilian agate. It is brown, beige, creamy white, and translucent. It contains beautiful rings and a central pocket of druzy crystals. It is estimated that each line in the agate represents thousands of years of creation.
