A raised maze carved into the smoothed faces of a natural stone cut in half. Engraving of the non-maze portion is about 3 mm deep.

This is handcrafted in my studio in the Pacific Northwest. I start by selecting a river stone with a balanced shape and good texture. Next I slice it in half and polish the faces. I then sand carve the original maze pattern into each face to create a very unique one of a kind cut stone sculpture.
